Zionism is a very simple concept . It is the CULMINATION of the aggregate ASPIRATIONS of JUDAISM over 2000 years of BRUTALLY IMPOSED EXILE from the only piece of land that they could claim in the whole world .
Zionism for Jews who want to live in a Jewish state is EXACTLY as AUSTRALIAISM or DUTCHISM or PAKISTANISM .

Pakistan GEOGRAPHICALLY n RACIALLY exactly as INDIA is . In simple english , You won't be able to tell who is Pakistani and who is Indian , if they did not tell you their respective different religions . So PAKISTANISM is the aggregate aspirations of Muslim PAkistanis in the Indian peninsula for a different well identified muslim state .

During the war between HINDUS n MUSLIMS there, in the late forties MILLIONS were murdered by both sides .
Never had we heard , from the EDUCATED LEFT and the Uneducated centre, a word about Ethnic Cleansing and those nurderous riots that culminated in the partition of the Indian sub-continent into 2 independent states , India n Pakistan . What happenned in Palestine/ Israel was loughable in comparison to that bloodshed .

Stallin , murdered reportedly by Soljenizin and others , nearly 45 million SLAVS n other nationals in the old Soviet Union . Stallin was the largest Ethnic Cleanser in History . It was systematically done in order to move about a third of the Russian people to areas that the Russians always loved to have . Lita , Latvia n Estonia , and other Muslim denominated Soviet republics , have recieved millions of Russian deportees .
The decendants of those people -RUSSIANS - still live in all those states now Independent countries . Many of them are in the main power posts .

In 1492 they were exiled AGAIN . Spain had sunk in a regressive era and had later become the poor primitive girl of West Europe . Of course , Arabs FLED . Their leaders ( trust me fallguy , nothing changed since ) were to blame for . For decades prior to 48 , the Mufti ( a collaborator with Hitler ) and the Muslim Arab leadership in the British mandate which was called Palestine , INCITED them , that Jews were " bini shitan " ( sons of satan ) and " adbach al yahud " ( slaughter the Jews ) and many other slogans . Most of those Arabs were simple people . They have accepted what they preached to .They were told that , there are so many Arab countries , the November 29th 1947 UN resolution of deviding the country into 2 states , Jewish and Arabic , were hold no water , and Jews , those devil sons will be slaughtered and thrown to the mediternean sea .
Palestinian terror against the Jewish habitants of that land never really stopped TO DATE .
There were however 3 main periods of increased terror : 1921-1924 , 1927-1929 and 1936-1939 . World war 2 had calmed them relatively . From 1946 onward the region was engulfed in renewed violence which culminated as I said before in the UN resolution , which WAS ACCEPTED BY the JEWS , and DECLINED ON THE SPOT by the Palestinians and Arabs as a whole .
A war broke between the Jews and the Arabs . The war really begun on the night of 29/11/47 and ended 2 years later with a complete victory of the Jews there with the creation of Israel . It was simply a fullfillment of national aspirations . In one word Zionism .

It is beyond me how this notion / word has become so negative in the vocabulary of certain western classes n cults . Even the UN has been swindled to denegrade it . However the UN saga is another sad story .
The Arab terror against Israel has never stopped since . The process was this . Overnight , Arab terrorists ( Fedain ) would infiltrate the borders , reach an Israeli village or suburb , murder and set fire to a few huts or houses , and go back beyond the borders .

Israel would then send its troops beyond the border and retaliate . The Jordanians and the Egyptians , who sheltered those terrorists , would retaliate , and so on . Two wars have CLIMAXED as a result of this process . the 56 and 67 wars . In 67 israel has defeated all Arab countries in six days . HISTORICALLY , this was a turning point in the relationship between Israel and the Palestinians . No doubt about it .
Most Israelis would have , painstakingly though , give up most of that land that was captured in 67 . That land is populated by Arabs and Isreal has given it up in Camp David 2.5 years ago . A palestinian state was to be established . Arafat declined to sign a final peace accord , and a premeditated well planned , new terror campaign , had re started , to the very huge shock of many naive Israelis , who believed those past tactics , have been foresaken by the Palestinians forever.

The worst result of the past 2.5 years of Suicide terror attacks on Israelis is THE thorough MISTRUST that Israelis , who were on the left wing of attitudes towards the problem , have developed , towards the Palestinians . The big problem , though , is that if they go on distrusting their enemies , there will be no one to talk to . On other hand , they , like most of us , read the various websites , watch with horror the pictures of young Arabs ready to die , listen in Arabic to Arab TV and radio ( If you want to REALLY know what is the message , you must listen to Arabic communications not English , which totally entail different plots) , and find VERY LITTLE signs that the other side is ready to compromise .
In fact , the more they do expose their senses to all above media outlets , their hopes are diminishing , their well being suffer and their RESOLVE is further energised .

Last but not least . It would be a very critical illusion , of people opposing Zionism , to interpret , Israeli readiness to compromise , as a WEAKNESS . This illusion , has grown in magnitude among Arab leaders and inciters , many times in the past . Everytime it happenned , the result was a new war where Arabs LOST and quickly enlisted their huge political power internationally to stop the rot .

I pray that good sense will soon re emerge among Palestinians to realize what their leaders have engulfed them through .

I also hope that Aussie readers of my posts would have a better understanding of the complex of the middle east . Peace will never be achieved there UNLESS the Palestinians MENTALLY accept that Zionism is a legitimate national movement of the Jewish people in ISRAEL and like any other national movement has the right to exist . Once this has genuinely been expressed and guaranteed to Israelis , the rest is not a piece of cake , but rather easy to achieve .
