I was going to title this one MAGNUM SNOOPY PI....


..I'm in between watching Magnum PI re-runs...I'm about half way through series 4...yeah the 1980's TV series...






Sure, great, what has this to do with PAR?


Well its actually the Snoopy bit...and the PI...but its not Private Investigator.......well...endure my screenshots and we'll get to the PI bit soon...


I was taking a short break from a bit of research I was doing involving iPPS and thought I'd see if there was anything new going on at the Arthritis Foundation website.....I stumbled across their Clinical Trial finder which I hadn't noticed before...






I then went further and somewhat frustratingly, I saw just how many trials are going on (see red box below) at the moment!







I thought there isn't any way I'm going to have time to wade through page after page to see what's out there and if we score a mention...then I moved my eyes to the left and saw the Filter section....ah ha.... I quickly changed All phases to 3rd Phase.... (see Green box below):







But wait! Just before I started looking for the GO box (well Search Trial Box)...I scrolled down a bit more and saw KEYWORD.....(see Orange Box below):



This is what I typed:





...Now I hit the Blue SEARCH TRIAL BUTTON and what did I get????





Success!





Yep that's ours...The final thing I did was click on the LEARN MORE link... and here comes the PI part....(In the purple box below)...

Imagine, he would've heard about PPS by now...he would know our data...he would've read most of the announcements...but it is one thing to read this on paper, its quite another thing for him to have his OWN patients (well he would have some degree of ownership and call them his own patients) going through the trial and witnessing the raw data for himself....In my books its just another avenue for the wonderful story of iPPS to start spreading...sure a ways off..but we are progressing.
