yes, no doji - but there are plenty of reversal days with a hammer - black or white.

A lot of the goldies have them on close.

I don't know - my guess is gold up tonight - but it doesn't look/feel convincing enough for me - maybe a reversal for a small upswing and then a 'real' bottom. But then, last years almost 100% upswing didn't look dissimilar to today's candle.

I don't really have a clue at the moment - it looks choppy.

There certainly seems to be plenty of funny stuff going on. Anyway, nothing like this effects the business - I'll bet there were just as many flies in Coolgardie and TI today as last week and with good weather, the gold should be coming out every week - hoping for a good quarter.
Be nice if the Aussie pog stayed up - in the end that's what rings the till.
