As for other mining companies getting funding - there is always someone willing to lend so long as the story is there. Credit providers to these guys take a view - sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't. A lot of the credit providers are staffed by engineers turned bankers so a lot know what they're lending against.

I don't think the fall of a minnow like GTM is likely to change any sort of credit due diligence these guys already do!
