Almost a day too late for April. I'll have to get out the old misery sticks (skis) and be ready to bask in some of this global warming going on at Perisher. Looks like a tough year ahead for that Snow Denier Albo.
Snow has arrived in alpine areas in NSW and Victoria as a wintery blast moves across the south-east of the country.
Snow will start to fall lower down the mountains in northeast Victoria and southern NSW later on Thursday and into Friday, likely reaching around 900 meters elevation and possibly getting down to about 700 metres.Some areas in the mainland alps could see around 30-40cm of fresh snow accumulating by the end of the weekend.
