I agree with you that its unlikely LITM/NVA rerates have anything to do with one another. Certainly at the moment with no announcements, pending meetings and undertone of animosity it is more likely unrelated. My guess is NVA popped a little yesterday as a belated response to gold movements but for a variety of reasons we're not gonna see the same gains.
