    no I'm unsurprised.... govt should own and run infrastructure and then sell it off once its established if no private business is willing to do the task.

    but the biggest emissions cost of Nuke comes in the construction and mining phases. such huge amounts of concrete to start with, and an awful lot of heavy machinery to fit large concrete pieces into place.

    I trust CSIRO numbers far more than I trust any politician. and as well cost blow outs due to mismanagement are a serious risk.
