Dex I doubt there has been any major infrastructure projects that has not had any major cost over runs and delays, of course there are always some that criticise such projects
Indeed there was criticism of the scale and cost of Snowy 1 but if you could turn the clock back there would be no hesitation to give the project the go ahead. It will be the same with snowy 2 once its complete and proves it's self.
Not sure people understand what makes snowy 2 such a great concept, it would not have worked back in the day of fixed flat rate electricity costs but now with peak and off peak tariffs where off peak tariffs are significantly cheap it makes sense to use those cheap tariffs to effectively recharge the battery
