I Know its out there, first hand knowledge etc, of the FDA's, over extensions of existing Credit,loans,OD's etc, & the taking of "what the bank says they can have, et c etc but I wonder, if
there are any stats on this phenomena?
Here's a classic;- Business operating Odrft in 2005- 250K Business expansion- hard debt 2007 - 400K \ Bank says, in 2008, here is a new deal, net result is giving access to another 100k "if you need it money... by a FDrwn advance- initially they didnt need this extra...surprise surprise,slowly, over 18 months the advance was taken up- Total Debt today stands at over 700K
I have several similar gearing client scenario's where the offer just seems like a magnet, the term ATM is a good one because, that is how its treated..
Any idea's on trying to quantify this with a stat? anyone?
