No longer in the graphite scene full time, but I work as a geologist and have worked on ALL major graphite deposits on Eyre Peninsula for VXL/QGL, SER, MOX, LML and others. All had smaller plants (therefore more expensive per tonne) planned at ~50,000tpa at a cost of ~ $35m max in their DFS's, scaling up by 10 to 500,000tpa doesn't multiply the cost by 10, or at least it shouldn't.
