here I am, I am one of those who state property grows 7-10% every year....I do qualify it, in that it does not show straight gains each and every year, however when it does record the gains, of 20,30% or more after a few years....
you can then go back and test the year on year growth figures....
I recently tested a couple of figures on 2 houses...
I thought they may have been under 7% , but they went 8% since 2000...
it may have been 10% for the first couple of years then 7%..
who cares, if they consistently show the capital growth...
and this is in addition to the after tax annual income returns
it is just one asset class...we all have choices...
but for most conservative investors, they cannot go wrong with property....supply and demand is not about to change for this asset
