finally someone has the sense to denounce the cash is king furphy... if I had sat on my cash all those years ago I would never have made any gains....or anything like the growth assets I hold... I believe you borrow to buy into a growth asset...use other peoples money...take a small risk...
in a couple of years time...that cash will only buy 2/3rds of what it can buy now...due to deflation of the dollar.. fine if they are in retirement...except with the rate cuts so does the income reduce
