OH DEAR this is like teaching investing to primary school kids
a few basic points
1. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST PROPERTY INVESTMENT
2. PROPERTY AS WITH SHARES IS IN THE VAST MAJORITY OF CASES A GOOD INVESTMENT LONG TERM
3. AS WITH ALL INVESTMENT CLASSES THERE ARE GOOD TIMES TO ENTER AND BAD TIMES
4. PROPERTY WILL IN ALL LIKELY HOOD AS WILL THE SHARE MARKET BE WORTH MORE IN 5 OR 10 YEARS TIME THAN NOW
But why enter property NOW when the is an extremely high probability of prices falling and you being able to get more bang for your buck in 12 months time and at the very worst case you enter for the same value as now
and in the mean time either leave your money in cash WITH NO RISK AT ALL even if it is only a paper loss
or invest in shares were you are buying at the bottom, picking up high yeilds and have the advantage of existing positions quickly if need be.
