Could it be because at that time they had to consider all options (other offers from other parties) and Amgen only wanted it announced once they were officially taking a stake in unilife?
To me Amgen are making a statement to the market, coming onto the unilife scene as they have, asking for cheaper rates in exchange for a loan pretty much says 'this is ours we get it cheapest and we get priority'. IMO
This is great for unilife to have such a strong backing by one of the strongest pharma that seem to be going out of their way to get our products.
Yes I might have changed my tune from recent weeks/months but this Amgen announcement has totally revitalised my faith.
