Thanks for your reply. The response to my comments was instant and solid. It seems there are many of us that have issues with what is being presented to us on television these days. You may note the time of this post and there are many like myself who do not sleep well or for other reasons like work are tuned to free to air TV. You respond as if you are a part of the industry. Thats great and that you are interested in our concerns is good. Yes I am an older retired person maybe sven grumpy at times,lol. I have been around since the first test pateren in the fifties and watched this media grow from raw reporting to what we have now, which goes beyond reporting to agenda pushing at times. Right this minute I am watching sex toys being pushed on our ABC. 1028am channel 24. I am broad minded and its ok by me to see this as a news report at this time of day. So many of our young people including my own members of family have difficulty in communicating clearly using our laungage. I don't know what they are taught these days but when I went to school we were taught to a leval of having good diction and presenting to speaking to a group. Nerve racking for most. Broadcasting on radio or TV was an important part of this education I believe. We had great presenters to listen to. Anyhow its not what I think it would be nice to hear what others think that matters. I think we have gone to extream levels. In the last 2 hours, females have domated my ABC TV. most have been very good. I think we have lost balance. I want us to be Australia that welcomes all and invite others to join us and not change us. Our language is important.
