I suspect that many, including the board IMO, thought that the raising price was too low. But I reckon most holders, as I was, were happy to take advantage of the discount, especially as (I don't believe) the SP at the time did not retrace back to the offer price. I believe that the market sees that the upside, of the downside, of a low offer price, is that the company was now derisked to fully fund from cash Kal and other upgrades and expansions, putting ease to many unknowns and potential problems for them and shareholders. $8 worth of piece of mind? I don't know, but the market seems to think so. Hasn't been an overnight rise, so think the market is fairly well up on what's on offer and what the potential is.
