Talk of China overtaking the US and becoming a super power is absolute nonsense and it will not happen in the next 50 years at least. 90% of the population is poor. They are the worlds factory and produce the crap that no other country wants to produce because of the crap wages and pollution that come with it. Their stockmarket is a joke that is supported by the government, they have a rubbish legal system and don't even understand the basis of a legally binding contract. The government and business have no accountability either.
Once China's wages become too expensive, Walmart will move their manufacturing to Africa and the rest will follow. China needs to be more than a big factory for the world, which they can't even do that properly, without poisoning people.
