History shows that superpowers , like THE ROMAN empire , and the U.S. , to a lessor extent, ( never as powerful ) were once so powerful that the ONLY way that they could be defeated was by destroying themselves , no one else had a chance in Hades.
Rome descended into intense depravity and total weakness of character and resolve , just the U.S. today....easy pickings for others..
