OK.... just realised that i wouldn't want anyone else to get caught out the way i did so.....
T +3 actually refers to Transaction + 3 Days before the money can be drawn out of E trade.
Money is able to be traded immediately but to actually remove from the e trade account is only possible after 3 days.
A trap for young players
