I voted “no” quite early. Seems the board didn’t want to hear about “no’s” so received a call. The call was welcomed by me but just a little late. The horse had bolted. The caller just wanted to know why I voted “no” Just doing his job I suppose.
I think the board has just rolled over. Margins so thin there’s no room to move. But the board isn’t there to make easy decisions it’s there to make the hard ones so WTP can make a profit & stay in the race. Besix had been on the register for some time now. If they were going to make a difference we would have seen the benefits by now. If the “no’s” win I expect the board might start thinking about what the shareholders actually want. But then, shareholders shouldn’t have to drag the board along. It’s their responsibility to prove to shareholders that they are being properly represented. And there’s where the problem lies. Letting Besix in this way is just an easy way out for the board.
