I've never heard of sub level cave mines until fairly recently. RSG has been developing one at Syama and have run over in terms of time and budget. Apparently they are expensive to develop but cheap to mine once they get up and running. I read previously that the Big Bell would have 3 years of capitally developed ore once they started mining.
