    >My thoughts have been recently around if they would be a perfect TO target and would it ever pass the FIRB?

I did consider this when ELD shares were pre ASX350 but now I believe it is just to big to be taken over. And why would you bother? What's the benefit and to whom? The sun is shining on Elders and I expect the Australian government to buckle down and support it as much as possible in the absence of tourism and the education sector.I hope the govt does "turbocharge" the agri sector. Its happy days for all of us shareholders. Too big in what sense? Market cap is only $1.6B. Any company, multinational or other foreign entity can buy without a sweat. It has weathered a bit in its very long history, and I think its a great company with a great future. Its been very profitable for me over the years and will continue to hold for a while. I think its has all the right qualities and a great potential TO target. Management has performed fairly well in my view.
