I've bought and held ELD for some time now. ELD has always been a core holding and have traded many times over the years. I have to say it has been less averaging down, and more averaging up with ELD (NOT a bad thing!!!). No real drop during COVID (compared to others). I bought in 2015 in high$2s/low $3s and took some nice profits in 2018 ~$9. Bought the dips when possible.
I agree about the div - I have a DRiP in place - so I would highly recommend using facility. Doesn't work for everyone, specially if you rely on divs for cash flow.
Thanks for the retracement targets. I have a target at $8-8.15. Anything around the $8 mark is a good entry point for sure, but I think we might need to see the signals we get from next earnings. I think the price has run a bit ahead of itself (happy to be wrong). I've had $7.50 limit buy order for a little while, and is due to expire soon. I don't think the SP is going down to that level any time soon.
