I own stock in a company delisted about 10 years ago. In the hands of the reciever who has consolidated the shares on issue from 4o0 share into 1.
The receivers take their payment in the new shares. The net result is that the receivers now own about 95% of the shares on issue while the original share holders own about 5%. You can see where this is going.
