As an ex gold trader I thing $2500 is improbable this year, however I am still very friendly to gold & even more so to silver. New highs this year I think are likely & I think roughly the price zone we are seeing now give or take $50 will be a base to launch from. China's appetite for gold is just starting & with access for the general public to own gold just opening up after not being able to own gold for over 50 years & the traditional Chinese affinity for gold I think the consumption/investment volumes we are seeing now will just be a drop in the bucket.
