Some are blind I see.
The point is that TEXAS works because 77% of the power comes from nuclear, gas and coal. That means they have been sensible enough to ensure that they have cake for when the wind doesn't blow. I bet they can do 100% through gas, coal and nuclear to cover for when there is no wind.
77% DOESNT come from wind and solar. Try it that way around and see what you get!
