You completely miss the point! What if there were enough wind generators out there now to produce 50% of our needs?
Under that scenario, we would be short 50% of our needs as there is no wind across Australia. The more wind generators in the system, the worse the issue becomes!
All that investment in wind needs to be recovered from consumers as WELL as investment in coal, gas etc to cover 100% of needs for when there is NO wind at all.
No wonder our power costs keep rising as the proportion of wind generation grows.
