I don't get it. If the data was incomplete, why did they announce initially? why wouldnt they want until they have all the information?

Cause this now looks to be a winner and they have just let go the CEO who developed this for the past 18 years (The brains behind it).

It smells bad all round and now shareholders have someone in charge that does not have the knowledge or experience with Merck, instead of the CEO who brokered the deals with them.

The board should be nervous about this
