@Sailor FNQ; you apparently didn't hear recent explanations from insurance companies about the rocketing cost of premiums, extreme weather events and global warming.
Nor are you demonstrating an understanding of tidal ranges and the link to other phenomena including phases of the moon, the earth spinning on its axis and earthquakes.
Recently I came across reports of how the NT government has allowed deforestation to enable cattle ranching in the Roper River Catchment. It appears cattle grazing has been replaced by extensive cotton farming and the gifting of $Hundreds of $Millions of $FREE $WATER to cotton farmers.
The Roper River may yet dry up as per the Darling River, bye-bye barramundi while salt water will increasingly invade lower reaches of the RR with catastrophic consequences.
