We are watching the dynamics of the internet seeking out truth.

Nobody yet has stated a legal precedent.(CLR xxx.xxx)
I dismiss it all as hearsay.

Reminds me of the 1980 's when there was lots of takeover activity and companies were giving out "letters of comfort"

For a long time they were thought to be legally binding.
Finally the position was tested at law and what was thought to be binding proved to be not so.(or vice versa )

Perhaps things have changed legally over the intervening years between the two quotes.Both quotes could be correct even though they appear to contradict.


Will some one cite the CLR reference ..on MOU's etc.....to settle all this !
