on this forum most of us find it astonishing the potential that the market hasnt seemed to realise yet about this small O+G company-

we have so many different assets yet to become certified potential oil and gas-cbm-csg-helium-possible uranium isnt out the question-ucg (liquids tech) 1 trillion tonnes coal . . . . . . . . sorry did i miss any??????

yes i did!!! some research I just came up with from http://www.rumjungleuranium.com.au/exploration/amadeus/

    AMADEUS POTASH

Australia is a major user and importer of Potash which is an essential plant nutrient in our agriculture. The recent increase in corn plantings and oilseed plantings worldwide caused an astronomical jump in all fertilizer prices with muriate of potash exceeding $1300 per tonne in Australia. Although the price has fallen in line with oil prices and consequent drop in oil seed plantings, it is still sufficiently lucrative to warrant Australia developing its own mines.

Potash is usually one of the last mineral salts to crystallise in ancient inland seas as they evaporate, and such deposits are consequently discovered at the top of thick salt deposits which are known as evaporites and include halite (common salt) and anhydrite. Such thick salt deposits in excess of 1000 meters thickness are known in the Amadeus basin. They have been encountered in oil wells in recent years in the Cambrian geology of the Amadeus Basin.

Recent drilling and seismic work in the area of Magee1 administered by Central Petroleum Ltd has confirmed the extent of the salt beds ( Figures 1 and 2 ). Whilst most potash mines are mined underground to depths around 1000 meters the upper salt member in Magee 1 (The Chandler Formation) is at 735 metres depth as depicted in the log of Magee 1 ( Figure 3). A much thicker evaporite sequence (The Gillen Salt Member) exists at some depth below the Chandler Formation.

The area of the six mineral Exploration License Applications ( Figure 4) overlies oil permits held by Central Petroleum Ltd. These tenements give the company 100% rights to the mineral potential of potash-

the list just keeps on growing-
