no one can convice Australians to think at such radical levels

Australia thinks it's radical to maintain ownership of it's own businesses

Oz is dying as I've been saying for years -- it's dying because it's got character flaws - one of which is that it's way too conservative

    it's fearful in the extreme.

That is not going to change. If you look at the Intergenerational report from Chalmers - you'll see that the language shows a distinct belief that even in 40 years time - things will be somewhat the same as they are now -

sure it gives lip service to great change in things like AI and the like -

but, if you read it, it doesn't grasp what all of that 'means' ---------- they still appear to think that we will all just toddle off to work at 8 or 9 in the morning and that our challenge is to get more 'productivity' from our workers

totally missing the fact that we more than likely will NOT be toddling off to work at all ------------------ we will have an income from ?? something so we can still be consumers - or the entire thing will be vastly wildly radically different

what's the similarity with the current bhp tizz ------------- the similarity is that we are incapable of thinking outside of the box - of thinking radically, because we have a set recipe in our heads and character - and that set is 'conservative'

'radical' change is going to hit us like a hammer - the blows are falling already, but they are like those little light hammer blows on a chisel - aiming it up ----------- the big hefty hits are coming

and we will be 'forced' to think radically different.
