Surely if it is a very good result this will bring value to the company right away and why so?
1. The reason I see why they finished phase III quickly is so that the big pharma can see the result and start negotiating the right amount.
2. FDA may even rely on the extended study of Phase II and accept phase III result and may allow an application to be filed. This one is kinda hard to predict as FDA can decide another phase III is required. I wouldn't put too much thinking with this one.
3. Tibotec might be willing to bundle ATC with their negotiation hence the extension was made until March 2 so they can view the ATC phase III results.
4. AVX has about 33m cash on hand. It will give them a good leverage to negotiate a better deal.
On the other hand, A bad result will be devastating to the SP.
