I've read before that many Shares tend to be 'Quiet' before a Good Announcement.
This could be a good Time to hold Your Nerve.
You see ,if some Short Sellers are on to some Average News, they could Submit a Step Ladder of False Buying Orders to 'Suck' innocent Traders into Buying before an Announcement that would cause a Share Price to Fall. (The Short Sellers Sell at the Higher Share Prices which they may assist in creating;then cover their position when the Share Price Falls).
Therefore I think this 'so Quiet' Time, is a Good Sign.
