Imagine what a conviction would do to someone like JF. Forget about the accountancy practice, tear up your qualifications, forget ever being the director of a public company again, probably have to cash the house in to pay the company back and on top of all of that, the professional embarressment and shame that you'd bring on yourself and your family.
