    I understand ASIC can bring a case against a company (and individuals) for breaches of the Corporations law, but can it halt activities of a company's board while it prepares a case?

    And if so, would that be a good idea from the shareholder's viewpoint? (particularly in regard to stopping the normal activities of the company and destroying customer relations).
