    All this discussion by people that weren't there doesn't help. The fact that it is also a situation that creates the opportunity for political point scoring doesn't help either. Parliament should just keep out by referring the matter to the court. Probably there should be some ban on the availability of alcohol at Parliament house. Anyone that "needs' alcohol to function has no place in running the country, Politicians or staff.
    In my view the woman at the centre said no too late. She should have said no to half the alcohol consumed also. She may have also encouraged the "attack". I wasn't there so I dont know. Over the years i've seen plenty of drunk women do stupid things.
    I'm not excusing the accused but he may also have been slightly affected by alcohol as well. Both parties probably "driving under the influence".
