Years ago,I was in the 2ndHand/Antique Game.One of the most "distressing" parts was when some young swain who'd got dudded at the altar came in to Flog his diamond ring that Love had thrown back at him.

I won't go too much into it but to outline that there is a huge markup by Main St Jewellers as well as factors like a couple chooses the ring from Hundreds on Display while I had just this solitary ring hanging round my cabinet so all in all I could only pay/take the risk at about 10% Yesterday's Buy Price Retail.
You know who usually bought the darned thing?Some overweight,fat fingered Matron that had about a dozen rings on her fingers all ready.

Anyway,there's plenty of Synthetic Diamonds hanging off chicks at this very time.They bought them as "bargains" being Real and got gulled because they still paid over 5grand$ so it must have been Kosher,in their gullible heads.

Sorta like those Placements at waaay over the Odds,to bring this post on topic.
