There are two Petitions in progress, that I am aware of, aimed at having the practice of short selling banned. I am advised that both Petitions now have thousands of signatures each.

I have drawn the attention of CMM management to the fact that BOT and short selling are distorting the CMM SP to the advantage of the privileged few and asked for their comments - response NIL. A hastener will be sent in the next day or two pointing out the obligations of management that their only raison d'être is to create wealth for all share holders in a market that provides equal and fair trading conditions.

Should I get a response other than the expected ie both BOT and short selling are legal ASX transactions/activities, I will keep all posted.
