His entire argument rests on some old reports. No resource is found, until it's found. Thus any evidence about a particular body of ore, must indeed conclude that no resource has been found at present.

In absence of confirmation of a resource, preliminary scouting phases occur, one of which is channel sampling, which came back with good results. This in itself isn't a guarantee of a resource, simply that it's worth looking into further. Which is what we are doing.

You can't reason with this Vintage kid though and I suggest you don't bother or you'll get a combination of quotes from historical papers and his useless drivel.
