So, what can we make of EQH’s underwhelming performance this week? Well, my take on matters is as follows.

Obviously the stock had a tremendous run & was due for a bout of profit taking. When it was holding the 79/80 level, all stock thrown at the buyers was being taken. However, as the price didn’t start moving up it generated more selling and here we are at 70c on low volume. So what gives?

I doubt very much that the buying is exhausted but when you keep on copping stock in the face every time you raise your hand it’s logical to step back & see if the sellers are willing to sell at lower prices…& apparently they are. After all, why line their pockets at higher levels?

Consequently, EQH should drift until 1 of 2 things occur. Either there will be an announcement of some sort to justify the run to $1 or the buyers decide to find a level & stand there to take on all comers. Assuming this panic low occurs, I’m convinced these sellers will be the same buyers at higher levels once EQH resumes its upward move.

That's my 2c anyhow till I see something to change my mind.
