Technically you are wrong. The Romans killed Jesus - at the behest of the Jewish leaders at the time. Some of them believed him guilty of blasphemy, and a trouble maker. It is ironic that we Christians regard his death as a sacrifice that saved all mankind, for which we are thankful, but the poor old jews have suffered for it. Mind you in the years after his death some Jews were pretty hard on christians.
