The size of the Lucas gas in place estimate for their PEDL is accurate at 200TCF. Realistically, they will only tap into a few of those units underground, and hence the actual recoverability is probably going to be quite low; I am sticking to estimates of 5-10%, andleaning to the low side. But still, that gives lucas a net share of around 5000-10000 peta joules of gas, or somewhere around $40 to $80 billion USD of gas sales over a field life.
So in respect to a land sale, we should definitely expect done big dollars to be thrown around, but only after we get this pilot frac off the ground.
