Youngbuck - During the trials the first 7 vaccinations are given every 4 weeks and the last 3 are given 8 weeks apart. It is a 56 week treatment so that would be a lot of flights, I guess not only are there the costs involved in flying but also for the treatment itself and accommodation etc.
A $1500 airfare and a long holiday in the sun will stop quite a few people, especially the people who cannot afford it. Plus there would be visa requirement to enter the country as it would be such frequent trips.
You cannot put a price on life, but you need to be realistic anf understand that not everyone has the funds to be able to do as your proposing.
