At the same time a report of possible building of an LNG plant in Newcastle to import LNG from overseas to service the east coast at a cost of $400m+. Gas prices are reasonably high, we are about to go on grid and deliver, its been a long journey but progress is certainly being made.I wonder what our partner macbank is thinking of doing with their piddly little share of gas and oil production leases in the middle of nowhere, a business they have real operational knowledge of. I would have thought they would be need to serious think about either growing it or ditching it.
