I was wondering the same thing NAV. This is all my opinion only.

We opened at 8.3, went up to 8.4 and then it dropped to 7.2 - in the space of 15minutes.
Then it slowly recovered to 7.6 where it looked like staying until large buy order in the final minutes.

I think someone sold and bought a huge parcel this morning - triggering stops (intentionally triggering an automatic domino effect). The triggers went off + some people manually sold and the SP tanked. I think the 'slow increase' throughout the day was mainly someone accumulating the stock.

The thing that gets me... is why then suddenly pump it back up from 7.6 to 8 for the close? someone really wanted it to finish in the 8's...

Was it to give it a good basis for an opening tomorrow? (have they now accumulated and want it to sky rocket again)?

Or did they simply buy a large parcel at 8c because they were desperate to buy back a huge chunk at that price for tomorrow... because tomorrow they are going to do the same thing again. They will (IMO) sell a huge parcel at a below market price, triggering stops, causing more selling panic and will then buy back - accumulating more ... then in the afternoon they will 'buy a large parcel' - once again - which will be used the following day.

    Accumulation IMO.

I could be completely wrong, let's wait and find out tomorrow.

    Ele.
