I also hear BHP are very keen on (NOT) Jutt Holdings at least 1 billion dollars for the cruddy patch of dirt known as Liberty-Indee.
Disclosure: I hold and have been torched with Jutt.
I do believe BHP will look to make aquisitions in this crappy base metals market, however it will not be in Oz. Better projects elsewhere and labour is not so rediculously high.
