Hey flurry - you're right - it's a screaming buy :)

The record date for cap return (from general meeting ann.):

"the Record Date will be 5.00pm WST on that date which is 6 business days after the later of payment of the Second Tranche Payment pursuant to the Sale Agreement and receipt of the audited 30 June 2008 accounts. The Company will make an announcement after the later of receipt of the Second Tranche Payment and receipt of the audited 30 June 2008 accounts containing details of the relevant dates for the capital reduction;"

So the second tranche payment of $80Mil is due here:

"AUD$80,000,000 in immediately available funds to the Company 45 days after Settlement"

So roughly the second tranche payment date would be around the 20th Sep, which would make the record date 5pm on the 26th Sep.


IMO: Short-term, mid-term, long-term it's all happening for CFE holders :)
