Then can you explain the purpose of the strange trading set-up as I described it? i.e instantly jumping up and down your sell order directly linked to orders placed by others, but conveniently keeping just out of reach of having your shares sold.

If you can explain it some other way I'm all ears.

As you say it isn't a huge amount of shares. Maybe it is someone who doesn't have a clue how to set up a black box trading strategy.

Anyway I thought it was just weird and was providing the information for the benefit of anyone who wanted to pick up a few hundred thousand shares a little cheaper by manipulating the other trader's automated trading set-up.
