but you don't get any info that has not already been made public
I think mandarin is on the higher SI level and avoids all the paper work and presentations and director time.
But the usual way a SI placement works is you get a phone call saying we got a placement to do, this is the story, you in?
then you have to sign an acceptance form to reserve your allocation and a disclosure form that you do qualify as a sophisticated investor and because of this you have foregone your right to a prospectus ( this part is important to comply with ASICS rules)...it closes in saying "The signatory warrants that he/she is duly authorised to accept the Offer"...and thats what makes a SI pacement
